I have an older iPad that until recently worked fine with Netflix. But now it doesn’t because the iOS system is older and the current version of Netflix doesn’t work well on it. If I had known that I never would’ve updated to the latest version of the app. Netflix did not share any details about that when I downloaded the app that I saw. As a user experience designer this falls into the really bad experience category. You need to account for these off case user scenarios. Doesn’t seem a way to revert to an older version either. I’m stuck with an app that sometimes plays, sometimes doesn’t play. The control buttons don’t work well and I’m forced to quit the app to get whatever I’m watching to stop playing. Can’t afford to upgrade my iPad at the moment.
